1.     Prenuptial agreement (noun): an agreement made by a couple before they got married in which they say how their money property is to be divided if they get divorced.
2.     Compendium (noun): a collection of facts, drawing and photographs on a particular subject especially in a book.  
3.     Anachronism (noun): a person, a custom or an idea that seems old-fashioned and does not belong to the present; something that is placed, for example in a book or play, in the wrong period of history;
Adjective: Anachronistic
·        The monarchy is seen by many people as an anachronism in the modern world.
·        She said nuclear weapons were an anachronism in the post cold war era.
·        The consumers were anachronistic for a Victorian play.
4.     Consummate (adjective): extremely skilled, perfect;
·        She was a consummate performer.
·        A consummate liar.
Consummate (verb): to make a marriage or relationship complete by having sex; to make  something complete or perfect;
·        The marriage lasted only a week and was never consummated.  
5.     Egalitarian (adjective): based on or holding, the belief that everyone one is equal and should have equal rights and opportunities;
·        An egalitarian society.
·        He described himself as ‘egalitarian’.  
6.     Pre-empt (verb): to prevent something from happening by taking action to stop it; to do or say  something before somebody else does; to replace a planned a program on TV;
·        A good training course will pre-empt many problems.
·        The government announced that it had pre-empted a coup attempt.
·        She was about to apologize when he pre-empted her.  
7.     Vehemently (adjective): showing very strong feelings, especially anger;
     Synonym: forceful
·        She had been vehement in her opposition to the idea.
     Noun: Vehemence
·        She was surprised by the vehemence of his reply.
     Adverb : Vehemently
·        The charge was vehemently denied.
8.     Sternly (adjective): serious and often disapproving; expecting somebody to obey you; serious and difficult;
     Synonym : Strict
·        Her voice was stern.
·        The police are planning sterner measures to combat crime.
·        We face stern opposition.
     Noun: the back end of a ship or boat.
9.     Haul (verb): to pull something/somebody with lot of effort; to force somebody to go somewhere they do not want to go; to make somebody appear in the court in order to be judged;
·        Fishermen were hauling in their nets.
·        He reached down and hauled her up onto the ledge.
·        The creature began to haul itself out of the water.
     Noun: a large amount of something that has been stolen or that is illegal; a large number of points, goals, etc., ; the distance covered in a particular journey; a quantity of fish caught at one time;
·        The thieves got away with a record haul of $25 million.
·        When I haul, gave a haul on the rope.
·        The biggest ever haul of illegal drugs.
