ISRO Scientist/Engineer SC Recruitment Exam 2017
The
Indian Space Research Organization is the space agency of government of India,
headquartered in Bangalore. It has now
become one of the most successful agencies in the world. All credit goes to its
hardworking scientists and Engineers. After establishing its own engineering
institute, ISRO mainly recruits its scientist and engineers from IIST (Indian
Institute of Space science and Technology). But still every year ISRO conducts
its own recruitment exam in the mid of the year.

This year
ISRO is going to conduct recruitment examination for the following streams:
- Civil
- Electrical
- Refrigeration and Air conditioning
- Architecture
- Mechanical
- Electronics
- Computer Science
For the
Electronics, Mechanical and Computer Science the written test will conduct on
7-may-2017.
The Exam Pattern
Unlike
all previous years, according to the official notification, the paper will
contain 90 objective questions and the allotted time 1 hr and 30 minutes. Going
through the previous papers it can be understood that the exam totally focus on
the following abilities of the candidate:
- Throughout knowledge of the field
- Numerical solving capability (calculators are not allowed)
- Understanding of the concepts
After
analyzing the ISRO recruitment exam's
previous papers, I came to conclude that the question from the following
subjects are asked in majority.
- Engineering Mechanics (Most important)
- Fluid Mechanics
- Thermodynamics
- Heat and Mass Transfer
- Material science
